IDFA TV is IDFA’s online film channel streaming documentaries, trailers, interviews, festival reports and more.
Films
IDFA TV is an online documentary channel, founded by IDFA with support of the city of Amsterdam. The beta version of IDFA TV has been launched in November 2009, and IDFA TV is currently in the first phase of its development. Its goal is to give a new exposure to beautiful documentaries that have screened at IDFA in the past.
The ambition of IDFA TV is simple: create a curated online platform where filmmakers can screen their work and a worldwide documentary audience can watch and discover both new and classic documentaries.
IDFA TV also regularly compiles theme programs centred around important themes or filmmakers.
Festival
Additionally, IDFA TV is an online archive of IDFA. Since 2006, the talkshows, master classes, and debates are recorded during the festival. They are streamed live on IDFA TV and remain online for viewers around the world.
During IDFA, festival reports and interviews with important filmmakers are also produced for IDFA TV.
