In the dramatised documentary MIGAS REJSE, ten-year-old Miga embarks on a thrilling journey. In search of his sister Nara, who disappeared one day without telling a soul, he secretly takes a train to the big city: Ulan Bator. There, he makes friends with a couple of vagrant children, who live in underground tunnels and can perhaps help him find his sister. Life in the city is quite different from the life Miga was used to, on the vast plains of Mongolia. Miga’s father once owned two hundred horses, but after a bitterly cold winter they all froze to death. Since then, the family has been having a very tough time.
