The Politics of Clothes deals with clothes and fashion, and the relationship that power and powerful figures have had in Iran concerning the way people dress over the last century and today. Not a historical documentary, but one focusing on key "garment issues" that have affected Iran, we will voyage with the director as our guide, and with the presence of three tailors ( each one a tailor specializing in a specific type of garment directly affected by these issues), deep into the conscience of Iranian political developments by taking a personal approach to questions around clothes.
