Most people hold their natural governments responsible for the nuclear arms race and its inauspicious effects on their health and environment. Using black humor, Deadly deception sets the rosy General Electric commercials against the stories of people whose lives have been destroyed by theinvolvement of this company in testing and manufacturing bombs for the purpose of the nuclear arms race. The film sdiscloses facts that General Electric would rather keep hidden from its customers and shows the campaign conducted by INFACT to make this firm withdraw from nuclear arms trade. A year and a half after this film was made General Electric withdrew from nuclear arms traffic by selling its Aerospace division.
