A film about the experiences of Vietnamese people in Czechoslovakia. On the one hand it shows people who try to make the best of it. On the other, we see people with more intellectual attitudes who closely follow the events in Czechoslovakia and the rest of Europe, and circulate the information they collect and their comment on it among their compatriots. But the two groups also share common feelings - a certain degree of isolation and inequity - which we often interpret as proof of their inferiority and fear of us.
