Colours in the Dust

Of the 1.5 million Haitians who lost their houses in the 2010 erthquake, 400.000 are still living in temporary shelter. Twelve-year-old Jouvens now has a new house, and he creates colorful artworks to deal with the misery he endured. This film is part of Why Poverty?, a groundbreaking cross-media event taking place in November 2012, urging people around the world to ask this question. Supported by 70 broadcasters around the world, the event aims to jump-start national and global debates about poverty in the 21st century.
