Eerste van de rest
In his younger years, Rob Bron was a celebrated motorcycle racer. The year 1971 was his peak; he finished third in the premier league of the world road racing championships: the 500 cc. But his life and career passed off far from smoothly, he explains in the film. He lost his father at a young age, his source of help and stimulation. After that, it was not easy to make a living from racing, as sponsors were not anxious to support him. You cannot afford top-quality equipment without any money, so the great results stopped there. Meanwhile, Bron has quit racing, but he now conveys his passion for the sport to two young protégés: 16-year-old Mike and 20-year-old Nympha. He does everything he can to offer them the opportunities that were kept from him in the past.
