How I Love You

Article 534 of the Lebanese code of law dictates that ‘unnatural’ sexual contacts will be punished with a jail sentence of at least one year. Documentary filmmaker Akram Zaatari used chat boxes on the Internet to try and find homosexual men who wanted to tell about their love lives in front of his camera. Two men reacted, who subsequently had to be shown in overexposed images to prevent recognition. They explain which body part they like best and they chat a little about some clothes they bought in New York, but they also speak candidly about their relational problems, the first meeting and the initial furtive sexual contacts, with the ever-present risk of ending up in jail.
