Let's Fall in Love: A Singles Weekend at the Concord Hotel

In the Catskill Mountains north of New York City is the Concord Hotel, well-known for its kosher food and the singles' weekends. Five times a year, 1200 single, divorced men and women, widows and widowers gather here in the hope of finding a new partner. When the participants arrive on Friday night a feeling of expectation reigns, which gradually changes into despair if the guests have not found someone 'special' towards Saturday night. This is a film which scrutinizes in detail the dreams, disappointments and resilience of a large number of participants in one such weekend in December 1992.
