Het liefdesdelict

Between 1976 and 1985, more than eighteen thousand people killed their (ex-)lovers in America. In England, an average of two men every week murdered their wives in that period, the opposite occurred about fifteen times a year. In the Netherlands one out of five fatal violent offences is a 'crime passionnel'. HET LIEFDESDELICT is a compilation of six portraits of three men and three women who have killed their partners. They give a candid account of their motives and feelings. Alice Fuldauer (35) is a journalist and an author. She wrote the book 'Fatale liefde' ('Fatal love') about the afore mentioned theme. HET LIEFDESDELICT is her debut as a documentary filmmaker.
