The construction of the Miraflores district was one of the first projects executed by the revolutionary regime. The district, which was built in 1961, was meant to replace the slums that were largely populated by people on the fringes of Cuban society. Miraflores was built by the people who were going to live there once it would be finished. In this semi-documentary, feature film and documentary have been interwoven. The film deals with the population's problems of adaptation to the new post-revolutionary society.
