Rauw op je dak: Jolieke

Twelve-year-old Jolieke and her sister have already had a lot of setbacks in their young lives. First their father died, and then the two sisters were diagnosed with chronic immune deficiency. Every other week, they have to go to the hospital to be put on an unpleasant IV. But apart from this, Jolieke leads a normal life. She acts in a school play, whistles while she cleans her father's grave and even participates in the four-day evening march. And from the top of the Ferris wheel, she, her mother and her sister cheerfully greet her father up in heaven.
