Pilgrim of Denial

Due to an accident, Felix missed his mother's funeral. To relieve his conscience, he goes on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje, a village in her native region in the south of Bosnia-Herzegovina. People say that the Holy Virgin Mary appeared here. Is it fiction, reality or a social experiment we are looking at? Felix' helplessness turns him into a catalyst for other people's acts. Through him, we see the devotion industry flourish. Personal integrity is under pressure. Kitsch passes for religion. And what about art?
