Un été au Grand Hôtel
Every year, the chic Normandy Hotel in the French seaside resort Deauville is inundated with American movie stars during the American Film Festival. It is the annual highlight for the hotel employees. Liam Neeson and Antonio Banderas stay in the best rooms, the television cameras swarm around the hotel, but what is happening behind the scenes? The chambermaids are at the end of their tether, the receptionist is only confronted with complaining old women, and the waiters are stressed because there are too few chairs in stock. Meanwhile, the other guests do not stay quiet, either. A prince wants a Persian rug on his floor, and a rich lady complains about the racket the upstairs neighbours make. The manager seems to be the only one in his element: he is interviewed for television by a sheepish girl, before accompanying Liam and Antonio to their respective rooms.
