Por primera vez

Two drivers/projectionists of Cine-móvil (a Cuban mobile cinema) are interviewed. This brings out that there is a village in the most distant part of the Oriente province whose inhabitants have never seen a movie. Cine-móvil decides to visit the village and asks the children and adults what they expect from a film before they go to the cinema. The answers are astounding. Later, during the show, the reactions of the people are recorded. The movie they are watching is Charley Chaplin’s MODERN TIMES, which had been selected especially for them.
