That’s Wild
In this exciting coming-of-age adventure, three teenage boys—Clifford, Ahmani and Nicholas—go hiking in the wilderness. Their journey in Rocky Mountain National Park is part of Wilderness Works, an extracurricular program. All the boys come from deprived neighborhoods and are carrying heavy emotional loads. While one is struggling with depression, another is feeling the aftereffects of a childhood spent on the streets.
We follow the boys as they make thrilling descents down smooth rock faces and climb peaks thousands of meters high. They help each other out when panicked or sick from the altitude, and play together, laughing, in the snow. Day by day, nature loosens the tensions of home and the streets. The boys are liberated here, happy and carefree.
After climbing four awe-inspiring mountain passes, the teenagers start to realize how big the world is, and how much they have to offer. Nature’s healing powers burst from the screen in this feel-good film.
