Recollections of two twin sisters who have spent their entire lives unloading bricks from trucks at building sites. They come from a family with ten children. For a long time they had to take care of their younger brothers and sisters. The course of their lives runs parallel to the economic and social changes in Poland. Their father came back to Poland in the fifties, not knowing that the war had ended.
