Antiracist

In the media coverage of xenophobia, the Swedish filmmaker Liv Weisberg noticed the tendency to emphasise the racist expressions, instead of paying attention to the victims. Moreover, she is disappointed in the limited ability of people to learn from the (recent) past. In ANTI-RASISTER, she portrays three fighters against xenophobia and intolerance who set a good example, in her view. We are introduced to the Uruguayan Soledad Pinero Misa, working for the Stockholm-based organisation Youth Against Racism, writer and human rights activist Sven Lindquist, and Patric Johansson, former security officer and avowed antifascist.
