Demons in Paradise

Yakada Yaka - The Iron Demon, is a film about fear. It is a film about the thirty year old conflict in Sri Lanka between the Tamils and Sinhalese. The film tells the story of people living with fear from the time of colonization, until the present day ethnic conflict and war in Sri Lanka. The story is told through the railway system of Sri Lanka by a Tamil director and a Sinhalese co-director.
