Somewhere in an anonymous warehouse, steel homes are located - small storage spaces that can be rented per square metre. They are depositories of goods that are hard to part with, memories of loved ones or decisive events that people couldn't possibly throw away. Director Eva Weber discreetly explores the endless grey corridors in search of personal stories that lie hidden behind the rows of identical steel doors with cheap padlocks. Meanwhile, invisible collectors' voices crystallise Weber's quest. Gradually, the bleak room fills with wistful memories. A film about memory and transience.
