SEVODNJA MI POSTROIM DOM takes place at a construction site of a house. The film starts with dreary images of the muddy terrain, with the rain steadily coming down. A dog rummages about among the soaking building materials. After the rain has stopped we see people working and taking breaks. The film emphasises the poetry of little everyday things, changing even an unwieldy cement trough that is being hoisted up by a crane into a graceful and airy object. SEVODNJA MI POSTROIM DOM is a melancholic, poetic film composition of images, ambient sounds and folk songs.
