Le fond de l'air est rouge

"The third world war has been going on for 10 years," Marker said in 1971 at the presentation of his film. LE FOND DE L'AIR EST ROUGE is an account of those 10 years, by means of edited newscasts, videotapes, 8mm films, and some fragments from feature films. The film emphasizes the role of communist parties in Western Europe and Latin America. The main concept is the presentation of various aspects of the ideological struggle by representatives of the oppressed masses against the people in power. The spectators have to draw their own conclusions.
