In Search of Buddha

Paolo Brunatto has made more than three hundred documentaries. He maintains strong professional ties with Bernardo Bertolucci, whom he followed during the shooting of THE LAST EMPEROR in the film NOSTALGIA DI UN COLOSSAL (1987). For many years Brunatto has been fascinated by Buddhism; recently he made two films with the Dalai Lama. In IN SEARCH OF BUDDHA, he followed Bertolucci during the making of his latest feature film about Buddha. At the same time, he investigates the attraction exerted on the West by this old and mysterious religion.
