Druppels: Hanna & Yael; Annemiek & Manar; Marit & Michael

In DRUPPELS, a triptych about love and friendship, VPRO programme maker Pauline Huntjens interviews three extraordinary couples. In the first part, nine-year-olds Hanna and Yael talk about their friendship, which is preserved even when Yael moves to the south of France. ‘Manar and Annemieke’ deals with an exceptional form of friendship. 17-year-old Annemieke is a ‘chum’ of Manar’s, who is six years younger and is having problems at home. This means that for one year they set out together every Wednesday afternoon. Episode three of DRUPPELS shows Marit and Michael, who live in Purmerend and have both been admitted to the ballet academy in Amsterdam. There, they turn to each other for support.
