I Have a Problem Madam
FIDA Uganda is an organisation of female legal advisers that looks after the interests of Ugandan women. The situation in this country is characterised by a serious inequality between men and women. Assault, rape and even murder of women are daily occurrences. I have a problem madam follows the FIDA lawyers in the daily fight they wage to cope with the accumulation of problems presented to them. We hear the story of a girl who got pregnant when she was fifteen and now faces an insecure future, because the father refuses to acknowledge the child. Another woman left her husband because he took another wife, but the divorce has left her without any possessions. The FIDA lawyer accompanies them to their village to mediate, by means of animated dialogues, to try and make the men change their mind.
