April Diary

Last October, during a state visit to Great Britain, the Argentine president declared that he wants to keep claiming the Falkland Islands, but will not wage another war for them. The documentary APRIL DIARY shows the repercussions the Falkland War has had on all of Latin America. The result is a poetic chronicle that descends into the dens and horrors of the war in a highly subjective and personal way. The documentary contains interviews with key figures from Argentina’s recent history, like Mario Eduardo Firmenich (leader of the Montoneros guerrilla movement), some veterans of the dirty war and the English historian Richard Gillespie.
