Festival history

The assassination of Israel's Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin alerted Israeli society with a jolt to the danger that the national, extreme right?wing religious opposition represents to the peace process. Many people have pointed out this threat before, but their anxiety has not led to adequate measures. Yeud Levanon and Amit Goren followed the fanatical, religious colonists in the occupied territories on the West Bank for twelve months. The result is 119 bullets + three, which pays a lot of attention to the ideological notions of the opponents of the peace process by interviewing leading figures from the 'Jewish underground'. The filmmakers' conclusion is that the irreconcilable opponents want to destroy the democratic state of Israel, after which they will establish an autocratic fundamentalist?Jewish state on its ruins.
