In a spacious concert hall in Warsaw a performance is in progress; it is a show by some of the most popular young 'big-beat' groups, such as The Black-Outs, Polanie and Skaldowie. The hall is packed with teenagers, carefully supervised by the police who are there to check any possible outburst of temperament. The film is made up of three types of images: the bands playing, the reactions from the members of the audience while we hear the music, and of the reactions from the audience without the music, thereby showing the collective ecstasy of youngsters under the influence of 'big-beat'.
