The film crew is leaving for America. In the beginning we see the sea shore and a number of trucks; the first implies the limits of the following journey across the United States, the second its object. Pepik, a Czech immigrant who has been living in the States for ten years, is driving his own truck. During the journey, he talks about his work and life in the States. The other 'stranger' is the Slovak Michal, a mechanic and former truck driver. He remembers his native country and discusses the differences with the United States. With the images from all over America and the director’s commentary as a setting, the film reflects upon immigration in the United States from several points of view.
