Hissein Habré, a Chadian Tragedy

Hissène Habré was arrested on June 30th, 2013, in Dakar where he had sought refuge after fleeing Chad on December 1st, 1990. This day, for the victims of Habré’s regime and their lawyer Jacqueline Moudeina, comes at the end of a long battle. They filed proceedings against the former Chadian dictator more than thirteen years ago. They demand that Habré answer for his actions.
