"That's the way it is ... go on! Documentary about a typical Dutch farmer andd his environment. Inspired by Rembrandt's paintings the filmmaker observes the farmer through the four seasons of a year. Innovative in form and touching in the way to tell a story, this film shows the day of the personage in his most intimate moments. A film with a lot of poetry and humor.
