Gigi, his girlfriend Monica and some friends are living near the train station Bucharest-North. Their lives can best be compared to that of a group of curs: they used to be beaten up and now they are begging all day long. They earn their money by lugging baggage. They shower under a broken-off water pipe. Their solidarity is strong and they have fun, but their desire to give up their life as drifters is even stronger. When 15-year-old Monica gets pregnant, Gigi is forced to find a solution. The new parents of daughter Bianca first try to build up a new life at Gigi’s mother‘s house, later on they move to Monica‘s grandmother. They can stay at neither place, so again a life in the streets lies ahead. A remarkable love story.
