A caravan site on the beach, not far from Acre. A temporary housing solution for new immigrants that came to Israel from Russia, Argentina and Ethiopia. The film exposes the more intimate world of the people that live among the rows of caravans - their expectations, desires and purple dreams. It reveals an aspect of their life which goes beyond the hardships of transition. A sensitive ear absorbs their loneliness, and a reflective camera captures their pain. We are brought face to face with the human issue of being uprooted and trying to be born again.(Winner of the Wolging Award for Israeli Cinema, 1993, Best Documentary)
