Who would tell and who bemoan, how my heart aches (from Lithuanian folklore) Through the years, thousands of innocent Lithuanian people have been exiled to the Siberian tundras. During the reign of Stalin, Breznev and others they were not allowed to return to Lithuania. This film is a newsreel about a group of Lithuanian people who went to the graveyard of Igarka (Siberia) this summer. They unearthed the remains of the Lithuanian deportees buried there and brought them back to their homeland. The film symbolizes justice being done at last, and reminds us of the heavy cross the Lithiuanian people has had to bear in recent history.
